Within a 5-minute walk from Myeongdong Subway Station (Line 4) and Myeongdong shopping area, Myeongdong Soo Guesthouse offers comfortable rooms with free WiFi and free breakfast. Guests can also make use of the shared lounge, kitchen and computer stations. It is a 20-minute walk from N Seoul Tower on Namsan Mountain.

All rooms come with air conditioning and heated flooring. Rooms come with an en-suite bathroom offering a full-length mirror, hairdryer and shower facility. Select rooms offer views of N-Seoul Tower.

Myeongdong Soo Guesthouse is an 11-minute drive from Insadong cultural street, with its traditional teahouses and art galleries. It is a 45-minute drive from Gimpo International Airport and a 1-hour drive from Incheon International Airport. Airport limousine buses 6015 and 6001 go to the guesthouse from Incheon International Airport, and take about 70 minutes.

A simple breakfast of toast, jam, juice, fruits and coffee is available every morning. Laundry services and luggage storage are also available.

I had a very comfortable stay in a single room in this guesthouse, and the man who was looking after the place was lovely! It’s in a great location with many restaurants and shopping nearby, along with transport options. Despite being my first time using a “wet bathroom”, I found it very easy and comfortable to use. You were able to help yourself to fresh towels (hand towel size) and toilet paper in the common areas when needed. The room also had a good size television and a small fridge.

Great location
Fantastic location, room was clean with a nice hot shower. I feel this guesthouse is great value for money. I stayed at this guesthouse twice during my trip
Walls are extremely thin, other guests would wake me up when they came back late at night, this was frustrating as my room was near the kitchen. Key to get into room was tricky. Communication from owner - I sent a WhatsApp to the owner asking for help because I couldn’t unlock the door. They didn’t respond straight away but then accused me of taking a room key for another room. Then on my second stay the owner sent me a message asking to leave the cash on the bed when I checked out. Then the day before they was asking for the money, I replied to say I had the money and could give it to them straight away but pointed out they had asked for it on check out. I found these 2 incidents slightly annoying and I think slightly unacceptable

Despite the weather it’s an enjoyable n unforgettable trip.
The location is good and convenient for Muslim travellers as it’s really a few steps away from Kampungku restaurant that serves Halal food.
It’s located uphill and for travellers who are expected to walk a lot as they’re probably not used to this will find it a bit inconvenient if I want to be critical.

Highly reccomended and would stay again
This place is very clean and adorable. Looks exactly like the pictures. One of the HUGE positives was the location. Right at Myeongdong. I could spend days there. The owner was also extremely helpful and responsive. It was a great stay
There was only one pillow which wasnt the most comfortable. This is just a very small comment though. Overall it was a great stay
